knock sensor

What would happen if the knock sensor was unplugged?

The knock computer or ECU (dependeing on series) would not retard the timing in the event of engine ping/knock/detonation.

If this is the car in your signature, then there is no knock sensor, so it wouldn't matter anyway.

Well i am turboing my n/a and it says that i have to drill and tap a hole in the n/a for the knock sensor, but i don't have big drill for that.

you dont need a knock sensor and if your using an NA ecu then you cant use a knock sensor but if using a TII ECU you can go either way just make sure your on the rich side when running without a knock

Yea i am getting an 88 Tii ecu with 88 high impendence Tii injectors.
