Have you ever seen a polished tranny?

I'm waiting for my car and engine bay to get painted, I am polishing or plating my freshly rebuilt motor. I decided to clean the tranny too. I know its foolish but I was missing my baby.

I bead blasted mine that is going in the 1st gen. I'll probably just paint it silver since the rest of the engine is powdercoated in silver and black chrome.

If one would disassemble the entire tranny, it probably could be powdercoated.

GOOD job

For me that is A LOT of work, so I just paint mine either black or red

Now the best thing to do is clear coat the tranny...I did that on all my polished items...it mayb loose a TINY bit of shine, but it will last forever like that...no more re polishing!
