S5 Turbo rebuild almost six months ago. Maybe, 5k mileage including break-in. (that's being generous) not DD, only a couple times a month.

actually yes, I didnt loctite the first turbo I ever rebuilt and that exact thing happened. Youre supposed to loctite the nut on, your shop didnt, and they need to replace the compressor wheel.
I very much doubt that you damaged the engine like the guy said in your other thread, though. I'd just have the shop rebuild the turbo (at their expense) and throw it back on there, you should be good to go.
