i remember seeing a thread at one point that told you what wires you would need to modify on a t2 harness for a na-t2 swap. i cant find it in the search bar but im hoping someone saw it as well and remembers it a bit better than i do. i did have pictures and really thats all i remember if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Tps wires need extending.

I think it is pin 1r that controlls powersteering on an na and knock control on a t2 needs to be cut. I did not do this though, esulting in no issues.

Wiring related, all i did was extend tps (almost 2 years ago).

sensors and mechanically, i assume you know there is a lot more.

pin 2k and 3? have been altered by some people.

I can pm you my build notes if you want.......

Here is some threads I subscribed to when I was swapping an s4 tII into my s4 n/a:

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/its-starts-then-dies-682718/

To use the TII EM (emissions harness, passenger side of engine bay) harness you have to cut the wire for the knock sensor like previously mentioned. Also you have to wire up the plug for the alternator because on the n/a the alternator plug is on the EM harness as opposed to the E harness (drivers side of engine bay, connects to the starter) in Turbo cars. That isn't all there is too it though.

There are some good posts in those threads by Hailers that mentions exactly how you have to modify the FEM-01 and FEM-02 harness plugs for it to all work. I could try to pick through it and explain it for you but it wouldn't hold a candle to the original posts.

Good luck!

All you have to do is:

1) Cut the wire at pin 1R.

2) Extend the TPS and BAC wires.

You don't have to do anything with the alternator plug, as it is already wired up to the warning lights properly on the engine management (EM) harness. Switching it to the engine harness (E) is pointless when keeping the NA EM harness. That only matters if you use a turbo EM harness. The only changes that need to be made are ECU related.

Optional:

3) Convert the split air solenoid plug (pin 2K) to run the twin-scroll solenoid (if using it).

I'm pretty sure the OP wants to use the turbo EM harness.....

Ahh, you're right. Didn't see that. In any case, using a turbo harness is a pointless waste of time. I already pointed out how easy the NA harness converts.
