The F9 is a fuel only computer that will not control your ignition. You'd need to retain the stock ECU to run it, complicating things (nobody say distributor!). For the FC, the full house E6K is better value in the long run.

www.japtrix.com The F5 is an additional injector controller that will run one or two injectors. These guys install them. Me and a buddy went down to their shop a couple months ago, (serious rotary / racing shop) got the full tour and one of the guys has a TII with this F5 AIC mounted on the driver's kickpanel to the left running a 720cc that kicks in at 9psi and runs it up to 14-15psi reliably. Also using a Profec B low set to 9, high set to 14psi.
The 720 is plumbed at the back driver's corner of the stock intercooler.
My car will be in their shop next month for this now that my turbo's been upgraded. This should put me at 300bhp or a little over once it's dialed in.
Apparently, the AIC controls the injector(s) based on boost and I don't think it requires a laptop (not sure on that).

The F9 is NOT an additional injector controller, it is a stand-alone, laptop programmable, fuel only ECU. Using one just as a AIC seems like expensive overkill.

Think NZ has had one too many tonight.......

I will be going with this setup as well. I plan on using a 1300cc injector plumbed into the FMIC piping just before the throttle body

Hey NZ, im guessin those are some good shrooms, eh?

Is this like a new unit or a used unit?&nbsp I don't think the F5 is even supported by Haltech anymore?

With this AIC how do you actually plumb into the fuel system? It seems you'd need an aftermarket FPR and Run the primaries off one port and the secondaries w/additional injector line tee'd in on the other port? Then how do you go about a fuel rail for the 2 new injectors!?!?! Anyone have pics?

The guy said F5 not F9. F5 IS AN ADDITIONAL FUEL INJECTOR CONTROLLER and it works great.

Yeah, i was looking at an F9 with a distributor or something similar. But, i might reconsider and run an F5 and just keep the stock ECU. Hey Hailers, ReTed, and NZ, what you guys think on this situation?

BACK FROM THE GRAVE!!!!!!

You can use an f9 with early distributor, it will work just fine. Just keep the trailing coils and use them as leading and trailing. No big deal...
