i have a 88 rx7 with big time wire problems that keep frying the ecu well i am getting a Haltech E6X Flying Lead Kit will that get rid of all the stock wireing and do i still use the stock MAF sensor or does it come with 1 plz help

 

It will come with it's own map sensor. The haltech will only get rid of the passenger side wiring, and not all of it. The driver's side ECM and wiring will still be stock, you will also have to cut apart the old harness to keep the wipers working.

Do you even realize what you are doing?

You're asking questions that don't make any sense.

The MAIN ENGINE HARNESS runs down the passenger side of a US-spec FC.
This takes are of the majority of the functions of engine control.
This harness also includes the water temp gauge wire and the wiper control wires.
These wires can be rerun and do not have to be cut out of the original harness.

There is a MAIN POWER HARNESS that runs on the opposite side, and on a Zenki FC, it includes the CAS plug and wires, which is the most important for Haltech installs.
For Kouki FC, the CAS plug was switched to the MAIN ENGINE HARNESS.

There's another harness that runs to the stock coils.

Try explaining In a very structured detail manor what exactly what you are asking and it will be easier and less frusterating for people to answer you!

 

Try do a search for "bdc haltech e6k install" and it should pop up full write-up's to do this properly.

Although the E6X isn't the E6K, the wiring is similar enough to help.

I would seriously consider having a pro install it. No offence but from your questions it sounds like you don't have the know-how to do this yourself. You may find the install turns into a long, steep and frustrating learning curve. If you do end up doing it yourself, don't cut a single wire until you've done heaps of research on both the stock and Haltech EFI systems and are confident you understand everything that's involved.

Very true indeed if you don't have a good idea don't do it yourself... If you want to do it yourself do LOADS of research before even starting!
