GXLII: Problem found!
For those of you who've followed my MANY problems with GXLII (Turbo2 in a gxl) I've finally discovered the horrible bog after 5 minutes of driving! I got the pressure sensor, hooked it up, checked for vacuum leaks, got the car to idle nicely at 1K, and took it for a spin (the entire time it idled there were no error codes), and about 3 minutes later at a stopsign I noticed the check engine light came on, I payed not much attention to this and started off on my way, and I'll be damned if the car didn't run like **** again! So I make it home, and I park the car and leave it running (was idling good) And hurried and got out the ground wire for the intitial set connector, I plugged it in and hopped in the car, and it repeated over and over again "27" (which on seires 5 cars is the oil metering pump) So I was like, well god damn, why didn't it save it once I turned the car off!? Anyway, seems my MOP is the problem and hopefully I'll get it fixed soon! It's nice to finally find the problem instead of shooting in the dark.
