Question GXL or SE

I have the choice between an 88 GXL automatic, with a big dent in the door

or an 88 SE manual with a clean body

they both have the same amount of miles on them (or pretty close )

What would you guys do?

Thanks alot you've always been helpfull, and hopefully soon I will join your ranks

88SE that was an easy choice. Less weight, manual and clean body

Buy the SE, then convert it to a GXL if you want.

Question converting?

how difficult is it to conver. I was thinking about that route. I think the brakes and suspension wouldn't be to difficult, but what about the lsd, and abs?

Thanks you guys are always great

I'm in the process of converting my 86. I am getting the LSD, 5-lug conversion with GXL polished wheels, 4 pot brakes on the car next weekend. I haven't decided if I want the storage bin or not. Pwr windows are going in as soon as I get time as is the rear wiper.... full time student and full time work leaves little time for the RX7. Oh well, about a month and a half left of school.

What else is on a GXL that I haven't said? I have A/C, but it has been disconnected and will come out soon. Anything else?

Auto trans are boring.
The SE is a base model, so it has the inferior brakes and suspension.
This is a hard choice to call...

Auto trans=boring I would get the GXL if it had a manual I think it looks better but go with the SE because it's body is good and it is a manual.

That's my 2 cents
