Question Guess that Rwhp

Since i cannot afford to dyno right now, i want to get an idea of what my hp would be. im runnin...

an 87 T2 engine with a street port, 3mm ceramic seals, front mount intercooler, Turbo smart BOV, stock turbo, no cats. k&n cone intake.

im working in getting the rest of the parts, boost controller, FCD, new turbo, injectors, fuel pump, etc.

So what do you think this setup would put out?

3mm ceramic apex seals with stock turbo? I don't really understand the point here... but since you still have the stock exhaust and intake TID... i'd say you don't have very high gains... begin by the full exhaust system and TID, you'll get such a very noticeable HP gain, but don't forget to port your WG.

Stock turbo, no fuel mods, no exhaust mods, you haven't really done anything to increase the power. More power means more air into and out of the engine, i'm not see any of that.

That and stock boost... Your car is basically the same as a stock TII, you just don't have cats, that's 200bhp for a s5, remove drivetrain loss, and add a little for the no-cats, and that's about where you're at.

220-250 seems the typical number for a good stock turbo setup.

if you don't get a FCD that front mount will be the cause of your blown motor.
