Greddy stinks!!!!

I cant believe the customer support at greddy usa. I heard they gave some other guy problems with a FMIC kit. I just asked to talk to a tech and the guy was being a dick and told me to call back in an hour. I didnt think about it at first but in cali in an hour they would have been closed. What a dick. In a market like thiers you think theyd want to please customers. Well they just lost one. AKK just bitchin, sorry.

Good mechanical shape but has a few scratches in the bottom corner of the glass face. Minor though.

Yea Ive heard quite a few things about Greddy's customer support. Like if you have outdated products that they dont sell anymore they wont help you at all.

Here a pic I took a few mins ago in a cardboard box. Its really sunny outside and the gauge lights evenly. I guess the sun was shining thought. Let me know if you want it.

Blah. GReddy doesn't stick, they are just highly demanded.

I cancelled my FMIC 32R 3 row kit for my T2 because they took too damn long. 11 weeks back ordered. so I cancelled.

Going Spearco now.

I got all 6 60mm Electronic warning gauges though. They are kickass!

That is definitely one problem with Greddy - their customer support is atrocious. That's part of the reason why I started an E-manage mailing list - I'm gonna do my own damn support!

Their products are of excellent quality, though.

HKS, on the other hand, has WONDERFUL support - I've called them on the phone about products they haven't made in years, and the tech was able to answer questions off the top of his head! Questions like how to set the DIP switches for an external wastegate on an EVC I - damn! They will also fax you the manual for ANY of their products, free, no questions asked.

Speaking of, check out http://www.clubrx.org - I've got a LOT of manuals online, and a lot of Greddy manuals that I scanned in. They won't give 'em to ya, so I'm going around 'em!

On boost gauges - only Apexi and Defi make boost gauges in PSI. But, a metric boost gauge doesn't take long at all to get used to. I really wish this country would do like the rest of the whole freakin' world and go metric - the English system of measurement is SO bobo. I sold my Apexi boost gauge not too long ago (it was in PSI) and went with a 60mm Greddy peak/hold boost gauge that's metric.

While I don't know the exact circumstances pertaining to your conversation, it is quite possible that the "tech guy" was out to lunch and that is why they told you to call back in an hour.

i really want some gauges that look like my avatar, but with red instead of blue. doesnt greddy make some red gauges? that apexi gauge in my avatar looks like the best setup for a boost gauge i've seen.

No Apex is a Japan based company. They do have an office in the US (in Southern CA).

As far as gauges that have red numbering/tickers...you may want to look into Omori gauges.

Other gauges that are nice (but are probably not red) are

HKS
Blitz (very nice looking gauges IMO)
Defi
