Greddy Piping Kit

Am I missing something? Aside from the intercooler, is this all one would need to pipe a FMIC?

That kit is for the Greddy intercooler, which loops back to the passenger side and cross over the engine to the Throttlebody.

The kit looks like this

If you have a FMIC already, you can get a universal pipe kit for the FC, but depending on how long the intercooler is end to end, you may need to custom fit the pipes.

Should send Himni an email for pictures just to be sure. Greddy makes two design kits, the one that loops back like above, and one that goes under each headlight.

Greddy Intercooler Piping Kit: FC3S Mazda RX-7 (87-92)

Greddy is a manufacturer of intercooler piping kits and builds them to specification. This kits are intended for replacement of the stock piping & couplers. Comes with everything needed. Note: photo may differ from actual product.

pretty sure that is meant to replace the stock rubber couplers, not for a FMIC Kit

I don't have a FMIC at the moment. Was looking into getting one soon, and while browsing their website I came across it.

I figured if they piping was that inexpensive, I can find a donor core somewhere. I have the tools, time, and skills to make my own kit (built my own exhaust system), but I HATE having leftover piping.

that is NOT for a FMIC, it is to replace the STOCK top mount couplers and hoses

as far as I can remember greddy never sold their pipes that go with a kit without buying the cores. Now I dont even know if they sell them at all with the ebay knockoffs

I actually have that kit you posted a picture of. I'm probably going to scrap it. I am missing some of the piping anyway.

the original greddy kit did not require battery relocation and worked with ac and ps, if I remember you could keep the bumper support too but I could be off on that

i also had one of those

The one I posted? Or the one Black knight posted?

Are there any downsides to the type of setup that black knight posted? Airflow issues, etc? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to relocate my battery, but sure would be nice if I didn't have too. Just an extra expense I need to cover (wire, terminals, fuse box, battery...).

^ The one blacknight posted. kinda funky how they crammed all that piping in there... And yup, it's good if you want to keep PS/AC and battery in stock location. You can see in my albums I put a new kit together and retained my battery location. Also kept my bumper support.
