greddy boost cut controller

Here is my story. I use to own an 88 celica all-trac turbo. I was recently up in my attic and came across a box that contained a Greddy limiter cut controller for boost(3s-gt sw20). I forgot all about buying this more than a decade ago because my celica trashed it s transmission and I traded it in on my 89 convertible. I just swapped the NA engine in my vert with a TII. I looked at the installation instructions and there is a page for the FC3S but all of the wiring is in japanese.

Does anyone know how to wire this for the RX7 or will it not work for my car?

Also, will this controller cut boost or will it trick the fuel cut in the RX7 computer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

it will limit the pressure sensor voltage so that the ECU does not cut fuel. If you're decent with a multimeter you can probably just figure out the wiring by looking at the wire colors and verifying a few things. There should be a ground, reference voltage, and signal voltage, and then there's a wire for the pressure sensor gauge itself I believe. But DO NOT install a fuel cut defenser unless your engine is properly set up to handle higher boost.

According to the japanese install instructions it shows the wires going to the ecu plug in. Can I wire this to the pressure sensor in the engine bay?

After listening to everyone, I realize what a very bad idea this is and will look into the RTEK, an SAFCII and bigger injectors as well as porting my wastegate not necessarily in that order. Really do not want to blow up the engine after all of the work and money I have in it so far.

This is what this site is for, thanks to everyone.

Play it by the numbers, one step at a time and you will be fine.
