i got it started today and drove it around the block. it ran ok for a while (could use some tuning) but when it got to a certain temp, the engine acted like it was shutting down then it finally did. i tried to give it throttle but it didnt help at all. i dont know what to do but give up on this whole thing.

compression is good.

Sounds like a typical large vacuum leak to me.

i checked. there are no vacuum leaks at all unless the tube from afm to turbo inlet is leaking but there are no signs of leaks

what would cause my car to start after 4 or 5 attempts, run, then all the sudden lose all hp and die then not start again? this is what it has done no matter what i do to it rather it be replacing parts with good ones i know are good, or adjusting tps, re grounding grounds from the engine harness, etc. nothing changes but the car still at normal temps acts like it "dies" then i have to wait a couple days to even try messing with it again.

compression is good
sensors all check out at ecu back probed
getting spark
getting fuel
turbo is good
new fuel pump, pressure regulator
N370 air flow meter, boost sensor, ecu
TII port matched lower intake, TII upper intake and tb
TII fuel injectors
good omp
good coils
all fuses are good
new starter
new battery
solenoid resistor is good
main relay is good
N/A em harness

Anything i might be forgetting?

Are you using a TII throttle sensor?

Did you modify the N/A harness correctly to suit running a TII?

i am using a TII throttle sensor.

i however did not mod the engine harness. i was told that i did not have to since i am not running any emissions. if this is wrong, then what wires do i need to mod?

also, what about the stock alarm system? could this trigger my car to act like it is if the alarm system is acting up?

If you got the stk non turbo wires for the tps plug to reach............you don't have to do anything.

If the na wires/plug would not reach the TPS, then the wires would have had to be lengthened til they reached the TPS.

also... even though my injectors are reading within specs, could they be sticking open or close once the engine gets to a certain temp? or would it be that the injectors are staying in one position and the engine warms up, sensors start working together to accommodate for fuel and the injectors are failing.........idk

i am going to start checking by switching out the injectors, fuel pump solenoid resistor, and adding in the stock turbo to tmic pipe.

so i have figured out that the lower intake manifold was warped and it was leaking horribly. my next step is to take out the engine completely and replace it with a complete S5 TII engine that i got from a friend for free for selling his s5 chassis. the engine is jdm and has less than 30,000 miles on it so it should still have some life in it. compression is tip top and i have everything that i need for the TII swap. we will see how it goes in the next few weeks.
