Just finished an Rx-8 engine with Goopy seals/ground housings.

That t2 engine we did is running great, small throttle inputs yield a lot of boost very quickly.. Things are looking up for their products. We just had our shop car's housings ground and we will take the engine apart if it makes it 10k miles. Going to be 30+psi on a GTX42...

It was nice out today, spent an hour or so cleaning the dirt and sludge off the subframe and rest of the engine bay. I got everything all sorted in there, so I can just drop the engine in.

Then something amazing happened, the first of many peices were actually put back in the bay. The rack was cleaned and remounted and I put a few of my painted hard lines back in.

Also dropped my oil cooler and lines off at the radiator shop. They said itll be done monday, then I can mount it back up. Tomorrow Ill send out the injectors.

I just need a clutch, if someone has one for a good price..... let me know and a trans

I took the car off the ramps, yesterday. Pushed it out and cleaned the garage, pushed it back in lol. The rebuild steering rack feels awsome, so much better then before. I was thinking about wiring up my new gauges but I think im gonna wait till I get the motor in itll be easier.
As I was going thru my wiring, I found my alt wires to be a complete cluster ****.
The guys at T&R mangled it and the way they have it is ******* retarded, unprofessional, and not up to my standard what so ever.
I need to talk to Hailers regaurding it. He helped me originally wire my Tii emission harness to an N/A engine harness, when I was using a PFC. At that time everything worked fine even tho I had a slight draw. now that Iv gone standalone I need to know if it the b/w and w/b wires on the alt. can be hooked up to their original connector under the trailing coil or if they should be rerouted the the connector under the dash that I had it hooked up to prior to theses guys changing everything.
I talked to Ito the other day he has a good trans for me. Just have to pick up a pressure plate the cheapest legit one I found is an act hd on ebay new for 220. My oil coolers done I have to pick it up and reinstall. Injectors still have to be sent out, but its all coming together.
Also, found a new AIT sensor that I installed

well the injectors came nice and clean installed them.
heres a pic of my OMP resevoir.
I got this rx7 plate from amp years ago goes under the radio, I opend up the hole a bit and shoved my prosport oil pressure guage in there. it might be temperary

i found a write up to mod the stock cluster to hold aftermarket guages.
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/writeup-jspec-gauge-cluster-938512/
I might fit my oil guage in there with a small coolant gauge.
then run AFR and my knock guage in front of the cluster on the steering cover

so im still a bit unsertin of what im gonna do but i did grab and start modding an extra cluster. Im gonna have the guy who made the write up make me a replica mounting plate

I go back to work tomorrow for the first time in months, it gonna be weird.
I hope to pick up this trans from Ito this week sometime after work, then all I need is a pressure plate, and the motor can go in and start getting wired up.
Now that im off disability and can make some really money, I hope to really get the ball rolling on this project in the next few weeks

I know what you mean about the weather, its was nice all weekend then it dropped to the 40s and started to rain here LOL but snowing up in Jersey is crazy for mid march.

After reading this entire thread, I will send my housings to Goopy when I am going to reassemble it back for my Turbo engine. Going to do the same for my S4 N/A housings when I take it apart.

Your telling me!! Ive worked there for 2 yrs.
They gave me my 3rd and final right up while I was gone, for a burnt and misaligned head light bulb I replaced months ago.
A ******* joke.

They called me a week before I returned to confirm my return date. The next day I recieved a call from my friend, who works in the bay next to me, saying theres some old dude working in my bay and he pushed my box into the corner.

So, Im like WTF. No one knows anything, theres no manager, the owner just brought some new guy in. so Im talking to my writers and they say dont worrry about it one of the other guys quit so hes replacing him.

So I go in start unloading all my tools and ****, Ive had at home to work on the 7. My writer asked if I had the release from the doctor, to allow me to return to work.
I said yes. I forgot it at home. They told me to go get it and they'll figure out where Im going to work.
Drove all the way home and back for the release. Gave it to him said ok whats the deal with the work situation.

He goes while actually, I just got a call from the owner and pulles me into the managers office and pulls out this third write up he wants me to sign and tells me Im fired, then hands me a almost 300 dollar bill for the union dues that were not paid while I was on disabilty WTF. I refused to sign this write up, and asked promptly for the union reps Phone number. I contacted him and told him my situation and hes gonna see what he can do. They obviously had this planned and just wanted to get rid of me. I find this highly unethical. the union rep aggreed with me, and also informed me that it is not my responsibility to pay union dues while out on disabilty. Hes on vacation this week (my luck) but he will contact me monday about everything.

Even if I can get my job back IDK if id even want to accept it. soo all my tools are there still and I have filed for unemployment cuz it will take at least 3 week to recieve any money, which plays a huge roll in finishing my ******* car
