so I finished all my wiring in the engine bay and under the car...just interior wiring is left...
I turned the key to prime the fuel system all I heard was gas puring on the ground re did one of my fittings, all is well now, but I'm pissed about gass everywhere!!
Went to the store got 2 big jugs of castrol gtx 10-30, I think I need like 9 qts to fill the whole oil system.. got some 80-90 gear oil for the trans. and some coolant...
still need some studs and nuts...

just make sure you have everything.
I hated it when I forget the little things and have to go back and forth to the autopart store 10 times in one day LOL
Make sure the gear oil for the trans is GL4, GL5 in a old trans like ours will eat up the bronze. I havent seen it first hand, but since they added in sulfur to GL5, sulfur does eat through bronze. GL5 with MT1 will be fine because of the MT1 specs, the oil will not be corrosive towards bronze or copper.
I use redline for my trans always, their oils are mostly GL4. For the rear end, I use any GL5 since they are made for rear ends with hypoid gears, and add in lsd modifiers if the oil doesnt have any.

they were too tight on seal and rotor which wasnt a big deal but a few guys told me this design was like the atkins older design which scratched up side housings, thats what worried me.

Well I finished all the wiring... cleaned and vacumed the interior.. wiped the windows down... filled the shifter housing with fluid and installed my shifter..

Worked on Tubbys truck for the rest of the day and now I lost modivation to work on my ****...

Tomorrow I might fill the rest of the trans, coolant system, and wash the outside..
I still have to get good hardware to mount the turbo..

Its getting so close, I wish I could turn the key...

dude, if you find a source, please post it. i've been desperately looking for some exhaust studs, too and can't find any locally.

if you're interested in an online vendor, i did find THESE though. i'm tempted to buy the third ones from the top.

another day another problem...
figured id fill the coolant system... I have and use a vacumme bleeder that sucks all the air out of the system and pulls the coolant in.
well my system doesnt hold.. my water pump is leaking out both weep holes and the plug that was install in place of the nipple on the rear housing... I basically have to pull the uim off again and the alt... tomorrows another day... 1 step forward 3 steps back..

kool, I just ripped off the lim again to fix the leaky plug on the rear iron...
I still not sure if the water pump is bad it does slightly leak out both weep holes when the system is put in vacume but im not sure if it was designed to put in vac. Im just gonna fill it and pressurize it see if it leaks.. the pump was in good condition prior.. sooo yeah..Im gonna try to let it roll.
