Yes but side port needs to see boost not just vacuum. Best spot is off the compressor housing or hot pipe

yeah that not an issue I have a 15lb spring in it now. I might take one out and use the 8 or 9 lb one in there but then again I have everything to support 15lbs..
so idk..

well the one motor i built with goopy seals left a week and a half ago, now has 1500 miles on it and is waiting for me to head to SF for tuning. guess we'll see if the goopy seals do as they say they do, expecting to hit 500WHP@20PSI on the GT3572R 1.06A/R w/full bridge. not a massive goal but still pushing that rather smallish turbo a bit while on pump fuel.

@ 500WP you are about 550HP short of what I seen others push...you will be just fine @ this HP.. The only issue i seen with the BP motors is the blow by.

yes i know what goopy told me that they have recorded with their seals, but the last engine made 450WHP@17psi for 30,000 miles. but it will be several years before i know if they can do the same.

basically i built this one the same as the last engine, no revision to porting just replaced the rotor housings w/newer and swapped the S4 rotors with S5 which it should have originally had in the first place(another reputable shop built the original engine, i reused the S4 rotors as i missed it during the last rebuild), also pinned it which will have no impact on longevity. the turbo itself is smaller but ball bearing for quicker spool.

So,
This car is like the never ending story, as soon as I think im done, it just bends me over...
So over the last few days Ive been slowly pooring coolant in more and more not alot but like a cup or so each day at first i figured it was air bubbles never saw any signs of leaks.
Today I went out the do one more check before bringing it to Ito tomorrow and a couple other little things..
I notice the coolant was low againg wtf?
I check under the cars engine bay everythings clean and dry no drips wtf. I look alittle further back and see the missing coolant under the wheel well and front of the passanger door..
wtf theres nothing with coolant over there said **** it walked to my other garage for my flashlight checked everything nothings leaking and all dry I thought I was lossing my mind...
I stood up and was like wtf then thought to myself "well the only thing left is the heater core" which I would have never even thought about but in the situation I was in it was my last resort.
I pulled the carpet and sure ******* enough the heater core was pissing all the way down right under my ecu and leaking out of the body... wow sooo gay...
At least I found it went to the shop found a brass adaptor and was abled to loop the heater core lines and fill the coolant system for good...
how often do these go bad I mean it was just sitting there not pressurized, and im ober pissed now I dont have heat wtf that was the only accsessory I had left lol

Pretty ,much...that sounds about how things go. You don't need heat, it gets plenty warm on 30 degree days just by engine heat.

Booo!
It doesn't even get that cold in fl (20's on the worst nights) but o refuse to go w/o a working heater. I thought mine went or a few months back, forgot I had disconnected the actuator rod when I was installing a fuse box for my gauges.
