Good idle Bad responce when hit the gas

86 NA with no mods.

My clutch went out last week, but when i put the new one in..
The car idles fine but when i hit the gas its bogging then up and down some times it drops before it climbs.

This is a strange thing from just a clutch change..
Checked the timing
new NKG plugs
Tried the unplug the TPS to see if it makes a difference

Oh and when testing it seems my trailing coil seems spotty.
took it out messed with wires, it did not seem to make a difference when it is firing good.

Maybe i need to replace that..

Would a BAC cleaning help this? I don't know..

Thanks in advance.

The Neutral Switch would prevent the car from being started if the car was not in neutral and since your car starts that's likely not your problem. And what lead you to believe the trailing coil was acting spotty? And w/the engine as hot as it can possibly get make sure the TPS Green/Red wire reads 1 volt w/key to on.
