Im going to look at a TII tomorrow, and the lady told me on the phone that it smokes a little, sometimes. I asked her if the smoke was white, and she said no. What causes other smoke, and is any of it acceptable?

The smoke could possibly be a bad turbo. After a while when the turbo starts to go bad the bushings start the burn a little oil. Used turbos go for pretty cheap. If the engine is pulling good vaccum then it could be an easy fix.

It sold, for 700 bucks. Only problem was dented fender, little smoke, and broken steering column plastic.

 

Man that would have been a steal......I wish I could find deals like that on a TII. Oh well I got my 91 and that is all i wanted.
