Yea I wouldnt pay $4350 for a 17 year old car (not even turbo!) with 134000 miles on a non rebuilt original engine. But it looks immaculate! It looks like new but thats too much money.

I paid more for my '86, but it only had 40,000 miles on it. If it's in incredible shape, I can see it being worth that much. But it has to have a perfect interior, exterior, etc.

I can't. You buy that, get rearended and total the car and end up with $800 or some ****. Blue book matters. That car isn't worth $1500 probably.

Yea but thats 40,000 miles. This one has 134000!!! Its probably gonna need a rebuild soon. And re-reading what I posted "I wouldnt pay $4350 for a 17 year old car (not even turbo!)" I meant that I wouldn't pay $4350 for a 17 year old car, especially non-turbo. I would pay that much for a turbo FC if its in really good shape.

For that kind of money, it would have to be a T2 and in the same condition!

Thats waaaaay too much. I sold my '88 SE for roughly $3300 and it had 70K miles. The paint was still pretty good and the interior was mint!

Pics of my first '88 SE. Yup, only the engine bay on mines is a bit dirty.

I think it has been repainted or some body work done to it.

It is missing one rear badge and the fender decals are missing. I haven't seen a shop that can get them off without there being an outline where it once was....

I am still laughing at the guy who paid 2k for the 2f2f painted S4, with a high performance angle iron engine brace.
