Do you know your A/F's or EGTs?

wait....your rbheaders are glowing at idle?
As wOOT said, check your A/F and the EGT.
Is the idle steady, or is it hard to startup?

Check your hose to the boost sensor, its on the passenger side next to the air meter.

starts up fine. i let it idle for a while looking for a vaccum leak causing a high (2000rpm) idle. couldn't find any leaks, then i noticed the header glowing.

don't know my AFR's, not sure on the EGT, and the pressure sensor is hooked up.

An idle that high is not from a vac leak. If its a vac leak it will idle badly and you will have to artificially raise the idle to keep it from dying. Check for stuck throttle plates, stuck high-idle cam, or malfunctioning BAC.

As for the glowing headers, its either running really lean, or really rich causing fuel to ignite in the header. How does it run, and does it smell badly of unburnt fuel?

Also, how sure are you the timing is right?

BAC is removed, the idle is smooth, but when i adjusted the throttle plate stoper it idles really shitty, and i don't know where the high idle cam is.

as i said before about the glowing. i know it was the timing because i adjusted it and the glowing stoped.
