Unhappy Getting desperate to get car on the road...

Okay, I've finally reached the point of being truly desperate to get my baby back on the road (aka tagged and all that jazz). I'm thinking of selling a few things that I bought for the car and just never installed (too busy). I have a set (4) of Tokico struts (blue non adjustable) and a set (4) of Tokico springs (red non adjustable). The set retails on rx7.com for $574 for the package and $604.19 for them seperate. Also I have a brand new clutch (ALL of this stuff has never been installed and has the boxes and still in plastic and peanuts...LITERALLY in every sense of the word NEW) from rx7.com also that retails for $199.95.

Okay now should I sell these things on eBay for money so I can get my baby back on the road, or does anyone here need these things?

I'm willing to let the whole thing go for $600 if you pay shipping. For those of you sitting there with calculators the totals from rx7.com would be $773.95 and $804.14 so you save $204.14/$173.95 for which you could use for something else (fuel computer, new bushings, etc.)

I can try to get some pics up if you really need them, but like I said everything is literally brand new and never been out of the box (they're just sitting in the back of the hatch right now in boxes...like I said still in peanuts and taped up).

Thanks if anyone can help...I truly am desperate.

Mods, forgive me if this should be in the for sale sections, but I'm really desperate and need as many FC owners as I can get to see this.

Again, sry and I understand if you move it.

BTW, anyone who replies if I don't say something within a few hours email me or PM me (EBXKIX is my s/n used the most if you wanna talk).

kix_2@hotmail.com (make sure you say something about the sale in the topic of the email so I read it)

Well Kix I can't buy them because my car already had that exact suspension when I bought it, but I would say sell it. You can always get suspension components later and those aren't exactly race caliber components (because they are not adjustable) but make the car much better than stock for handling.

I feel the same way. I am up to my neck in FC parts! You should see the pile of engine components under plastic bags on my workbench. I hate seeing those nice housings just sitting there.

Thanks 88.

BTW, after working some numbers I can actually let the whole thing go for $500 even plus shipping.

Alternative buying prices

Here are the prices if I let everything go seperately...

Shocks (4) $300
Springs (4) $200
Clutch (1) $150

The clutch comes with everything you need to get it all lined up so you don't have to buy anything extra. Once again shipping is on you unless you want to pick it up in which I'll take cash, otherwise check or money order is fine.

I was just wondering what you needed to get your car going.

If its an engine maybe we could work on a trade?

The engine is fine so that's not a problem at all...but that's very interesting though. The only real thing I need is MONEY to get some tags on the car and insurance. But I really am desperate and don't have an eBay account thus I'm here.

It's the RP performance (Bonez) clutch. It's the standard replacement (they quote 10% better holding capacity than stock though so it's still uprated), the original price for it was $200. I'll sell it to whomever for $150 and shipping (which should be pretty cheap). I have everything that is needed to install it so you don't have to buy extra parts for the install like most aftermarket clutches. Hit me up if you wanna make a deal (I'm begging now ).

The suspension is all that is left right now, and it's up on eBay right now.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2410060226

The bidding is started (last night) at $450 and there is a buy it now option for $500. Remember the original price for this setup is $573.97 so you can save A LOT of money buying it this way. If someone can take it for $450 right now we can kill the eBay auction and save another $50...but hurry and try to do it BEFORE there is a bid on the auction to avoid complications. Since you guys are in much higher regards to me than anyone on eBay you have first dibs and the best deal. It's the least I can do to return the favor for all of the information and help that I get from here.
