getting car ready for winter
i am garaging my car this winter and i want to know what to do to keep the car in good shape till the spring rolls around. also i need to get my oil changed in another week and im wandering if i should change it now or wait till the spring becouse i wont be driving it, the most i will be doin is starting it up once a week.
thanks

And look around for rust too. Do some rustproofing if you can, since you wont be seeing your car for months, that disease spreads quick. And then you wont have to waste your time on it when you should be DRIVING it in the summer!
yeah the battery will discharged if its kept sitting there for too long its a good idea to diconnect it but if your going to be turning it on once a week id say dont worry about it cuz while the car is on its going to charge the battery

I keep my car garaged in the winter, I dont do anything special to it. Just start it up like twice a week, let it idle for 15-20 minutes, give it a few good redline revs. It should be fine
I like not driving it for the winter (well kinda), it gives me a chance to repair any little stuff that needs done, and do some mods that need down-time.
