Question Will an 88 airpump from a N/A work for an 88 TII?

I need to know this cuz im getting my car ready for emissions testing and one major component i need which i dont have on my car right now is an airpump.
The airpump that came stock is long gone so dont even ask.
Guys any and all help will be helpfull

I'd say yes/no. The pump seems the same in most respects, but the intake and exaust pipes are different. As in attached in different angles.

So get a n/a airpump. But if your fabricating skills are up to it, you could make a turboii airpump work. The inlet pipe can be turned at the right angle and the outlet could be chopped up and make to work.

I do have a 87 TII Airpump, make me an offer. Need any other emissions parts?

I see what I wrote above is just the opposite of what you want to do. But then again a n/a pump could work on a turboii. But the same problem arises. You'd have to reorient the intake pipe and on the exaust side you could get a right angle hose to fit the same as on a turboii. Small fabrication. Get a turboii pump to make your life easier though.

hey thanks for the quick response, i have the main cat with a factory exaust system which im going to use. I dont want to use a precat because i dont want to deal with the dp. Before i make an offer i would just like to know the most basic **** for getting my car to pass emissions, i mean do i even really need an acv valve? Because i was going to simply try to pass with the air pump and main converter
