Gas mileage

What kind of gas mileage are you getting? I am averaging 14 with AC on and it depresses me

I hardly use AC. Normal driving, of mixed city and highway, about 16-17.

All highway, 23.

Oh, and as a note, my engine runs cleaner than any other engine I've ever seen (as evidenced by my Inspection Dyno emissions numbers).

My gas milage is about 12.5mpg, and was 11.0 before I
changed my O2 sensor. My TPS is not functioning and I
am replacing it tomorrow. If the poll is still going next week after I burn a tank, I'll let you know.

I see 23-26 mpg in highway driving. I see about 20 in city driving. I mostly do highway these days.

I record the mileage for every tank of gas I put in, and I don't have a lead foot (even though I do wring it out to high RPM at least once a week)...

86 GXL, btw..

I get about 12 - 13 mpg w/o AC. With AC I can literally see the gas gauge moving.

I was going to test the gas mileage without boost kicking in, but, it never happened.

According to the factory the mpg rating was rated at NORMAL driving and when turbo kicks in the factory states that 7 gets around 11 mpg.

So, I guess I'm getting a good gas mileage.

22+ miles per gallon with a mix of 20% stop and go driving and 80% on the highway.

15 miles per gallon if I drive around town constantly red lining first gear.

My '88 SE was regularly getting 12-14mpg around town. After some basic routine maintenance, I was getting around 14-16mph in city. Highway's was around 19-21mpg.

My '87 TII gets 10-12mpg in city but the Microtech isn't tuned right yet. Not sure about highway but I suppose 16-18mph.

T2 tanks are the same size as NA tanks. Only different between S4 and S5.

S4's had 16.6 gallons and I forget how much the S5 has. 18.1?
