I got high teens mixed with a lead foot, mid-high 20's solid highway.
Also, measure MPG, not the amount per tank/half tank. It is a very innacurate way to measure it.

I believe I was getting ~13 in my GXL, while 50:50 beating on it.

Then it dropped down to ~8 after I 'squirted it because I fried the WB02 sensor too quick to get it 100% tuned (But I also bet the heck out of it too)

My mildly modded TII could get up to 25mpg on the HWY. Now that I'm seriously modded I'm getting 18-20 on the HWY.... but I think there's still more left in the tunning. Time to make the E6K work.

Seeing as how I never drive the car for the purpose of getting good gas mileage... all I can say
is I seem to get pretty good gas mileage. 20 bucks on prem (about 8 1/2 gallons) this weekend got me 175 miles on a combo highway (60%) and spirited back road (40%) drive and the tank still has more in it than when I put that in. 95% of that was non-stop driving with only 2 stop signs, the rest maybe 12 stop lights so... there.

On average I get 110 miles per half tank (half according to the guage). I average 14.5 mpg over the past few months. This is around 220 miles to 14.5 gallons of gas. I don't hammer it all the time, but I'm not grandma to it. I have a spread sheet all my records.

My car is also an 87 GXL with slipping auto trans.
