Does it come on when you turn the key to the on position?

Does your clock keep the correct time?

If not then you can remove it and check the bulb, if it's not simply blown then you might consider resoldering the boards inside.

If that doesn't work then it is probably the level sensor in the tank is faulty.

yeah it comes on when the key is on. whole thing lights up like a christmas tree. so i guess i should be looking at swapping out my level sensor or the whole pump in general?

My light just stopped working too. I'm not too concerned about it because theres a giant gauge next to it thats a little bit more accurate.

S5's low gas sending units are notorious for going bad. S4's seem to hang in there much better.

well mines been like this since i bought it! i mean its not a big deal looking at my gauge thats right in front of me instead of looking at the light in the center of my dash! i mean even if i got it working i'm sure i'd rarely get to the point that it'd turn on! lol but like i said if i can fix it without too much trouble why not fix it? :P
