looks like fish eggs. and yes this is really gas.. should have seen the full pump yikes!!

i drained my tank and cleaned it out ,, now with the flush it comes out clean.. and i also removed quite a bit of rust.. so hopefully im good for a while

BTW a regular monthly shot of injector cleaner or gas treatment additive will adsorb any water condensate & clean it out.

I was just going to drain my tank but after sitting 5 years or so I thought it would be more prudent to remove it and clean it out.
It was FULL of rust (from the anti-slosh guard around the pickup) with about 3/4 inch of brown goo that was dog poo look and feel. Disgusting!
Powerwashing wasn't enough so I bought some MEK from a paint store to attempt to dissolve the stuff.
I'd recommend dropping the tank to ensure that stuff doesn't get sucked up. While I realize that there are two filters to block the contaminants, with a turbo car, one moment of clogging will present a lean condition underboost and possibly bye bye motor.
