JUst like it says.. I will start using slicks in about 2 months and i do not have a oil baffle plate. The tires are on their way. But I was thinking twice about putting them on before a oil baffle.

if you can keep your oil at the full level all the time it shouldn't be an issue, I have noticed that when the oil sloshes to the driver side it tends to end up into the catch can, thus having a hard time keeping the oil topped up. I've heard of guys adding a vent to the passenger side and reduces a lot of oil loss. I'll be trying it this year.
so the choice comes down to oil baffle or extra vent?

I autocrossed my car a few time on Hoosiers A6s before I got my new oil pan with a baffle plate (pineapple racing) and it seemed to work find.
I had Hoosier A6s 245/40/17 F - 275/40/17 R
I would just keep your oil level full....
But if you're extra picky... A baffle really isn't very expensive. It's a pain in the butt to install though. There are a lot of bolts
