Thumbs up Full Bridgeport supporting mods and recommendations?

Hey guys, I have a few questions about a full Bridgeport 12a build. I want the build to be able to withstand 9000 RPM peaks.

Who do you guys think sell the best BP templates? I am personally thinking pineapple racing but I want to hear what you guys have to say.
What apex seals and corner seals should I run?
Is it worth hardened stationary gears if I am not running sustained 9000RPM?
Is it worth balancing the entire assembly?
Should I upgrade the rotor bearings?
Should I modify the stock oil jet assembly's?
What clutch would you recommend for the power?

Thanks guys!

This is the 2nd gen section and out cars don't have 12As. A mod will probably move this to the NA performance section. A few things I can safely answer:

- If you're building the engine for high rpm use, you definitely want the hardened gears. Especially since it's easy while the engine is apart already.

- You also definitely want the rotating assembly lightened. Apparently wear increases exponentially past 8500 or so, but also consider that since it's a BP you'll be driving at higher rpm all the time when compared to a stock port engine, as the power band is shifted up.

- From all research I've done, the OEM seals are the best as far as longevity.

What else could I do other than rotors to lighten the assembly?

When you get the rotors lightened, the front and rear counterweights are usually lightened with them and then balanced as an assembly. I've never tried it, but I'm sure there is info out there on how much material can be removed safely.

Then after that the only way to lighten is probably scalloping, which may / may not be beneficial on a BP. That's well out of my experience, so someone else will have to answer that.

Other traditional mods for high rpm are the hardened stat gears, Mazda race bearings (with the extra windows), and higher oil pressure.

There are Mazda race bearings for both rotor and stat gears.

for Apex seals i think the only options are the Atkins and maybe Goopy? for corner seals the stock Mazda ones are best, or if you don't like the rubber bit, run the solid 1011-11-321 seals

for the clutch, you can run a stock one, lol. you're not really increasing the AMOUNT of torque much, it just happens at more rpms. at the very least you want to keep the sprung hub, be nice to the transmission
