sry yeah I put an s4 engine into a 89 t2 but I currently have the s5 throttle body and fuel lines on the s4. I am pretty sure that the throttle body wont work because one is mechanical and the other it electrical but will the s5 fuel rails work on the s4

I think the S4 and S5 fuel rails are interchangeable... don't remember where I heard this but I think S5 fuel rails are better because of the pulsation damper being less likely to leak.

i'm not certain but i think there is a difference. i'm pretty sure the primary fuel rails are interchangeable but i dont think the secondarys are.i think the secondary fuel rail on an s4 is shorter than the rail on an s5
