Fuel pump replacement

Does that Bell shaped piece come off? Or just cut it off to install a hose and clamps to the new pump? Slowly working on getting my old 89 back on the road. Been a long time, and might be quite the project

you either need to run the ND pump with the weird O ring setup, https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati.../#post11226038

or cut it off and use a hose with clamps

kind of depends on the pump you're using

exactly what i needed to know. thanks. i was trying to twist that piece off, didnt want to crush the pipe. Ill probably just cut it off, and hose clamp it. I got a pretty basic pump that comes with the hose and whatnot. Thanks again
