Fuel Pump not turning on
Fuel Pump not turning on
My fuel pump is not turning on when i crank the car. it looks like its not getting any power. i know it works, cause i ran a full 12v directly to it and it kick in. What could be causing it not to turn on????
Possible its the ENGINE fuse in the crew compartment.
Possible its circuit opening relay under the dash.
Possible that you don't know the fuel pump does not run just because the key is turned to ON.

i've had the car for over a year. Theres not a fuel pump cut switch, but since i am having this problem, i was thinking about putting one in, would that be ok to put one in or would it only prlong the problem.??

i've already check the fueses, they are all good. i have even replaced the circut opening relay. Out of curiosity i even changed the computer i thought it might be a transistor in the computer but it wasn't that..
Go up a couple of threads and re-read Scott92. The plug is near the righthand strut tower. Yellow in color. Two sockets. Jumper with a piece of wire that's bare on each end. Turn the key to ON. Listen for the whirrr.
