fuel pump.........maybe?

help, for some reason when u STEP on the gas pedal at 4000rpm's it dogs out!! when u ez the gas pedal pass 4000rpm's it doesnt dog out(its fine)!! does anyone know what might cos this? would this mean my pump is goin or do i just need to upgrade it?

Sounds to me like you need to have your secondary injectors professionally cleaned/blueprinted.

yea i put that STP fuel injector in, but doesnt seem to work!! is it cheaper to replace or clean them and where or who would professionally do that?(what type of shop?)

You could call around locally to some performance shops(or even just regular service shops) and see if theres a place local. Or you can send them out to RC engineering. They are known nationwide to be the best. www.rceng.com

could be your fuel filter too is a little clogged and cant let enough fuel to perform at the rpm and higher.

Also a good idea to change it with an OEM filter(sorry I assume everyone on here does maintence). Good idea Castrol.

i do maintence but i havent changed the fuel filter yet, it totally didnt cross my mind!! fuel filter....... i will try that first then we will see!! thanx guys!!
