Help!!! Calling all rotary gurus (long)

OK... for my weekend project I removed the vacuum spider and installed a ported intake manifold. While I was in there I removed all the solnoids and the egr valve. Here's where the fun begins... when I got the rex back together it wouldn't idle. The only way I can keep it running is by setting the low end of my SAFC to about 25% increase in fuel. I have to be missing something. If not, then I don't really mind the extra fuel consumption, but if I could set this in the engine bay I would be happier. The only other issue I'm having is something is wrong on the throttle body. The coolant unit on the firewall side of the TB pushed a hose off from too much pressure. I can't tell from the stupid little picture in the FSM if I have the vacuum lines on backward. Please tell me which of those two ports is supposed to loop to the other side.

I think I've figured out the coolant line. I never ran it with the cap off to relieve the air in the system.

The least someone could have done is called me an idiot.

Lots of Air = Lots of Gas

My mixture screw has the putty packed in it that came from the factory. How do I remove that without breaking anything?
