fuel pump filter

fuel pump filter

alright i can't seem to get the filter off the fuel pump. there's this little weird looking washer type thing holding it on, if anyone knows what i'm talking about and has taken it off before any help would be appreciated.

? You just pop it off how hard is that? Just look at it. There's 3 prongs on the washer. Just gently lift them up and pull out. Don't see why there would be a problem.

yeah i pulled mine off when i swapped it out like 2 weeks ago. it should just pop off. theres a little clip on there but thats it.

sorry yeah i no the washer thig your talking about. it comes off with a flat head or sumthing to pop it off. you will need a new one to go back on to it though

the problem was i didn't want to break that **** by just ripping it off. then have to go through the hassle of ordering a new one when i could just ask someone on here how to do it. btw where would i get another one of those washers at?

crappy tire will have them i think ther like 2 cents lol. seriously. np. btw heres a good site on how to change the fuel pump that i found. step by step. with pics.
