fuel problem

fuel problem

ok so heres where im at right now my car was running like **** secondaries wernt working so i took apart the intake and cleaned all 4 injectors took a little while but i got the car back together and running it will idle but will not rev properly so i figured i would check to see if fuel is flowing up through the secondary rail so i could rule that out but come to find out im not getting any fuel at all flowing up to the secondary rail the car drove fine before it started acting up 2 days ago no problems but the fuel pump was a little loud... any help is appreciated i searched the forum nothing like this came up and i know that its kind of impossible for fuel to flow into the primary rail only

Obvious question: Is the secondary rail hooked up? Is the line blocked? How did you check to see if fuel was flowing to the secondary fuel rail?

yes its hooked up and i pulled off the feed line im gonna pull it apart and check to see if it got blocked some how but i dont think it did.. unless someone can give me a better way to check it before i pull it apart

ok turns out i had the return line unhooked and not the feed line the feedline is flowing but its not coming out of the end of the rail wtf??

This is odd. Be sure everything is hooked up properly. Look it over several times... Be sure nothing is crimped and/or blocked. While you're under the UIM, you may want to consider getting your injectors rebuilt and cleaned.

ok i took the secondary rail off and no air will pass through the return side not even 120psi!!!!

That sound like a pretty bad blockage
Get a new rail, or soak it overnight in kerosene

ok nvm i was tedting it wrong it flowed ok now im thinking it could possibly be lack of fuel pressure

ok heres where im at everything appears to be working i got my car to rev normal one time it would rev to like 5k and sputter and wouldnt go any higher not sure why... now it wont rev or idle again could limp mode be causing this cause last time my omp was bad it went into limp mode but was no where near this bad??

my CEL is not flashing and there was a ton of backpressure on the feed line coming off the fuel pump more than usual

fuel pump took a **** wasnt flowing enough 2nd walbro in 6 months!!

Did you have a genuine Walbro? And a more important question... Do you run your tank dry? (This could have a very negative effect on your fuel pump.)
