TX Fuel Lines

While I was trying to remove all of the accessories to the engine I managed to rip a couple of these lines (presumably fuel lines?) I was wondering 1. am I correct in calling them fuel lines and 2. where can I get replacements?

Did you break the hard line or the soft line?

Soft line can be bought at any auto parts store.

It was the softline. Not the black braided cover.

Those lines with the braiding appear to be Oil injector lines,Not fuel lines.
If they start at the Passenger side FRONT Bottom of the engine and and up at the Injectors around the center keg area and lower manifold then they are oil injector lines.
I see a coolant hose too.
Farberio is right though,if it is vacuum hose, then get an old piece of that hose, bring it to a parts store and they can match it up.
By the way if you are replacing any fuel Related hose, get FUEL INJECTION HOSE...NOT regular fuel line. There is a difference,as the Injection hose allows more Pressure(like 50psi,for example)..the regular stuff will BLOW.( only holds about 10psi)

the 4 lines that are crimped and bolted to the right top LIM bolt? those are the omp lines, you SHOULD NOT run vacuum line for those and fuel hose won't be the correct size. you need at least a vinyl replacement or teflon hose. i see many people patch them with vacuum line, that **** never works... the teeny tiny arrow is pointing to an OMP line, it carries oil, vacuum line will swell up if it touches engine oil and eventually come loose and make a huge mess as well as cause a lack of internal lubrication once it does fail.

high quality silicone hose is about the best alternative for patching a cracked OMP hose but you must glue it in place, silicone becomes extremely slippery when it becomes permeated with oil and will pop off if you look at it funny. viton hose would be the most ideal with the exception of teflon hosing/braided brake hose which has the same working temperature range but will not collapse as easily when pinched and has a much higher pressure rating for durability.

the OEM lines i believe are simple vinyl, which is why they become so brittle with heat cycling and age.

^ Ahhhh I see the OMP lines now. I didn't think they were fuel lines but I haven't seen OMP lines in such a long time it didn't even dawn on me to consider that option.

There is a write up on DIY OMP lines somewhere around here. I actually bought the tubing once and never used it.

Thank you!I actually purchased a set of silicon vacuum lines not too certain they are quality though. I will look for Teflon lines.

@farberio thank you I will look for the diy if you have the tubing how much would you let it go for?

Rotary Evolution showed remarkable restraint in not mentioning that he sells quite nice braided OMP replacement line sets.
They come completely assembled, ready to go.
I just got a set and am very pleased.

Little bit of this, little bit of that. When I get around to selling things I usually price them to sell as they do me no good sitting around waiting for the 'right' price. I don't have anything that I would probably make the same offer, but I do have some Eibach springs that I would sell cheapish if you want. I can't think of anything else on my shelf that you would want for your build.

About the only "accessory" I'm looking for is a duckbill/sport wing.
