fuel grade

Hello everyone! I hope this isnt to stupid a question but I am very new to the RX7 world so here goes! I recently purchased a1988 RX7 GTU and was wondering what grade fuel--- reg mid or premium should I be burning? Thanks in advance!

Ideally..83 octane for an N/A.Since they do't make 83 Octane,Go with Regular 85 Octane..you don't need any Higher on an N/A...if you do,you are just lining the pockets of GWB.

No, the FC RX-7 is rated for a minimum octane of 87 R+M/2, with no more than 10% ethanol. Please read the manual.

Yes, assuming the engine is running well and does not require higher octane, the purchase of mid-grade or super unleaded just lines the pockets of the oil companies and their stock holders. However, GWB has not been in the oil business since 1986, and like most major US politicians, his stock holdings have been managed in a blind trust so as not to influence his policy. The last snapshot I saw of his portfolio, stocks make up a very small portion of his investments, and he doesn't appear to make any more money on oil stocks than I do.
