Exclamation No Fuel Going Through My Primary Fuel Rail

HEy guys like the title says there's no fuel going though my fuel rail. fuel is getting to the rails but there isnt any getting in. the feed line that goes to the primary fuel rail is not opening for the fuel to get through so i'm thinkin its the stock fpr, i have a walbro 255 lph fuel pump and i kno that its working but its sending the fuel through da lines but no the rails, i even took off the feed line off of the primary fuel rail and it was spraying but wen i put it back on it still wont go through the primary rail. Any ideas of why this might be happening. also if there like probably a 1/4 tank of gas or less would that be the problem???? thanks in advance..

no, your title says "Fuel Going Through My Primary Rail!!!!!!!!!".....your other thread on this same page says no fuel. Why are you starting 2 new threads with the same question only minutes apart?
As for your problem, how do you know fuel isn't flowing through your rails?

Cool no fuel in the rail

i kno that there isnt n e fuel going through the rail because even wen i took off the fuel rail after having the key in the ON position hearing the fuel go through the lines and there wasnt even a drop of fuel in it. also wen i put the line back on and turned the key back ON, the fuel was jus stayin there and as soon as i put my finger on the line fuel squeezed out of the begining of the rail.

ALSO wen i posted this for sum reason it never came up den i did it again then seen wat the title says, now its new to me that there are two threads, sorry about that but you shouldnt knock on me because all i want is some help thats really all I asked for. thanks alot.

Threads merged... please only start one thread on the same subject.

And the fuel pump only works if the air flow meter tells the ECU that air is going through

Assuming your fuel pump is indeed running, what goes in, must come out. Somewhere. If you hear fuel going through your lines, then it has to be going through the rail. If the rail were somehow plugged up, flow would stop everywhere (or you have a puddle of fuel on the floor). Maybe you're hearing something else.

Chances are you have the lines ran incorrectly, and you're trying to flow the wrong way through the PD or FPR

one other thing, pull your primary rail off and make sure your FPD isn't blocking flow. I had the same problem, for some reason my FPD wasn't allowing any fuel to flow past.

You have the feed line coming from the tank going to the FPR first? If so, then that is wrong and you have your lines hooked up wrong like everyone else has already said.

Exclamation Quick Question

Isnt The Feed Line Supposed To Go To The Primary Fuel Rail??????????? The Line From The Filter Goes On To The Primary Fuel Rail. Also If It Helps I Have A Jspec 87 Motor.

Jspec motors have the fuel line reversed... you have it hooked up backwards

Like Mark said, the J-spec fuel lines are reversed. The fuel pressure regulator is on the primary rail and the pulsation damper is on the secondary rail.

But whatever motor you have, the fuel supply line from the fuel filter always goes to the fuel rail with the pulsation damper (no vac nipple) and the fuel return line always goes to the fuel rail with fuel pressure regulator (has a vac nipple).

and if you want to see fuel come out, turn the key to RUN then push the flapper on your air flow meter
