If the injectors get signal, they either open and work, or they're broke.

honestly probally nothing different, i would just be banging my head on the wall if it ever came to taking to the dealership. i feel really sorry for you. but as sonicrat said, if the injectors get signal, they either open and work, or they are broke. simple as that, first thing i'd try is steal a set of injectors off a friends 7 and see if they worked, if they did i'd get new ones. if not i'd start heading up the harness towards the computer

why is he convinced the injectors are getting signal??? He does know that the injectors have 12 volts on them with the key on and the ECU switches ground???

Sounds like the car is in limp mode... is this a S5?

Who diagnosed this?
They are most likely wrong.
Fuel injectors won't just turn off at 2,500RPM is they are working under that RPM.

If they are, walk away from the car - it's most likely an electrical problem and most likely in an accident.
Electrical gremlins like that are a royal pain to troubleshoot and fix.

Yes, it's a S5, so chances are it is limp mode or similar. Replace the harness/ecu and all related electronics, that should solve most issues.

time for a full ems system if you have to replace the ecu and wiring harness.

Most common cause is metering oil pump. But you can easily pull the codes to check (which the dealer should have done as the FIRST STEP of their troubleshooting process).

Replacing the ECU is stupied, and done by a clueless mechanic.

AGAIN (as asked many time in this thread) have the error codes been checked? and if so, what did it report???

And if your mechanic hasn't checked the codes yet, you need to find another mechanic as the one your car is with has no clue about what he is doing.

well the ecu u was replaced by my self, . and the reason for doing that is just trial and error man. i put the orignal back on , we only did that to see if it might had been the ecu. if ya know the history behind this car thats when all this stuff started 8 months back when they were tuning the mapecu. so after the rebuild one would go back where the problem started in the first place. but being that it wasnt that , we are still checking things out..

It can only be so many things

ECU
OMP
Injectors
Sensors (AFM, pressure, air intake, water thermo)
Harness itself
Fuel supply
Coils
Plugs/wires
Power supply to all

I'm not trying to be mean man, But can you start to structure sentences properly, and use proper grammar. It's really hard to tell what you're trying to say, because it's hard to read; you're writing like a 5th grader.
