Fuel delivery question.

How much power/boost would 1000cc secondary injectors support?

ok well let's say the setup is 1000cc secondaries and 720 primaries and i could raise the fuel pressure to infinity and beyond! then, what could they hypothetically support? i'm just trying to optimize my options on the stock fuels rails without modifying them.

No bumps allowed here.....

Well, for starters the stock fuel rails should support around 500bhp before they even begin to become a restriciton.

Secondly, there are plenty of fuel calculators available online that would answer this question. According to the RX-7.com calculator you'd be looking at approx 280bhp with 720/1000 combo at stock duty cycles (since you mention no fuel controlled I'l goign to assume its on a stock ECU)

My set up is in my sig. ( 720/1000 injectors and FPR ) but I have SAFC also. My dyno results said 401 but some of the settings in the dyno computer were wrong ( obviously... LOL ) After recalculating we guessed about 340-360.

Most fuel injectors will effectively stop increasing their fuel flow rate when the fuel pressure exceeds about 60 psi. Also, fuel injectors generally can't exceed 80-85% duty cycle or about 16ms pulsewidth.

Use a calculator for estimating your fuel requirements.

Maybe I'm missing something, but you're not the thread starter? I don't understand.

With an SAFC cranked up to the max (20%) you'll be able to push close to 380bhp in that case. On a run-of-the-mill T04B, you were probably making 320-340whp at about 13-14psi.

thanks classic, i never knew that i couldn't bump a thread in tech...

i know that the stock fuel rails are capable, that wasn't my question. i should have been more specific, what i want to know is all other supporting mods considered (computer, pump, regulator or any other supporting mods) what kind of power/boost can 1000cc/720cc injectors support? i figured most people would understand.
