each end of the cut wire goes to one side of the switch.
thats it, its cut? take one side and put that to one prong on the switch and put the other side of the cut wire to a second prong. the third isn't needed unless its s light up switch and it needs to be grounded, if so, ground the 3rd prong...i think thats it, if im wrong someone correct me please...

It is not necessary to get a three prong switch. I did it with just two, connect one prong on the switch with one wire, and the other prong to the other wire.

Yes thats It. On mine, 2 of the 3 were copper coated. The other was silver to Indicate that If you were to use It, you would ground It for It to Illuminate. Are all 3 prongs the same colour?

Hey would anyone reccomend puting the switch in the center console?? Reason because I already have a switch there I was just going to use. Driving around I have never hit it shifting or anything.

I'd Imagine you would want to conceal the Switches Identity.

I put my switch just under the steering wheel and a little to the right. That way no body can see it.

Famous last words...

It should be located away from where your hands normally are, and where only you can reach it. The little plastic panel under the steering wheel with the vent in it is perfect. Its easily reached but takes a deliberate reach to operate, plus it's close to the relay.
