No grounding needed.

In the case with me, I had a 3 prong switch. a ground was needed ONLY to Illuminate the very small green pin hole. I elected to ground It b'c, If my car was mysteriously not able to start up, I could verify It was not coming from the switch.

i.e power from the relay = Illumination of the green light.

i see...so would you recomend grounding it on a 3 prong switch? i have abunch of switches so i can use whatever kind i want...but if the switch doesn't light up there is no reason to ground it right?
