One comes fro the AWS solenoid on top of the UIM. Remove the solenoid and cap the nipple on the UIM. This will partially eliminate the 3000rpm cold start idle. The other nipple goes to the ASV on the back of the UIM. This adds extra air when the power steering system operates so the engine doesn't stumble or stall at idle. It needs to be fed air from in front of the throttle, which is easiest done by adding a nipple to the intercooler return pipe just before the TB and running a hose to it.

I thought all TII's had power steering...

It's also used for the hot-start assist system, to bump up the idle speed when the engine's heat-soaked, but it's unlikely you'll miss it. You can remove it and block it off, or save yourself the trouble and just unplug it since you can hardly see it back there.

i just started my car for the first time and it wouldnt idle right and i discoverd that i had a big vaccum leak and i found it to be a hose that went to the stock metal pipe peice that conected to the intercooler in between the turbo and top mount ic its where the stock bov goes and it leads to what i think is the bacv its the the thing on the intake where coolent lines run to. now that i have a front mount where do i run this hose????

That is the hose that the BAC bumps up the idle by adding air to the intake stream. I believe it bumps to compesate for the AC dropping the idle when it's on. I got rid of all that stuff. I would assume you can cap it off.

BTW If you still have AC you can have a nipple welded on your IC piping if you want.
