Front end project
Hey Guys,
Im in the middle of a front end restoration project, I have everything powder coated, Installed new bushings, hawk brake pads, rotors, longer lug studs, tie rod ends, AGX Struts, and ball joints. Ill post pictures soon.
I need some help with understanding tire sizes and offsets. I want to install my gloss black RX8 rims onto my FC but haven't got a clue how to do this effectively. I searched and found that the stock fc rims have a 40mm offset and rx8 18x8's have a 50mm offset. does this mean that the lug holes on the rim are 40mm away from the center of the rim? should i use a 10mm spacer to compensate for the change? as for tires i cannot even guess at what the size numbers mean.
Thanks,
Sean

Don't let the numbers confuse you, it's actually really easy. Good luck
