Front diff mount problem...
Sooo...I drift my car hard...ALOT.
This consists of lots of clutch kicks, fast shifting, and clutch popping...
With that said, anyone else ever have problems with their front diff mount (the one that mounts to the subframe)? I keep ******* ripping the rubber ones apart (yes, even newer goodish ones).
I've tried reinforcing and welding the tabs/notches around there, and even replacing the rubber with a completely solid block of metal, and THIS **** happens -

...which, sucks even more because it causes my diff and driveshaft to basically hammer up onto my chassis, and cause even more awesomeness...

******* lovely.
Sooo...ya.
Suggestions?
Halp.

There's a location between the rear bins on the trans tunnel you can drill through. There's a little dimple in that area. I drilled through that and placed a large Energy Suspension bump stop there and preloaded it on the diff with washers. If you remove your bins, you'll see it. It's like Mazda wanted us to place a snubber there.
Like the others said, a snubber.
I have the comp mounts there and at the diff/subframe and the damn subframe gets smacked into the unibody on upshifts. I have diagonal link dimples in my floor pan
