Also what is important is the CFM rating of the air compressor that you are using plus the diameter of the air hose to give power to that big bad 3/4 impact. I tried the same thing once with my 3/4 impact and had a real good compressor but small air hose. As soon as I changed the air hose to a larger diameter my 3/4 impact gun did the job.
Your right about the CFM rating. A typical 30 gal. 3hp compressor. I also tried a 3/4 electric impact with no luck.
I'm going to try the starter method since I don't have the resources to get beefier tools. Now that I know for sure it's not a reverse thread I won't worry about that.

Put the transmission in 5th gear, use a 19mm deep impact socket and a breaker bar, then extend it with a pipe. Crack it free with that.

But what about keeping the clutch depressed with a 2x4 so you don't screw up the
T-bearing. Putting it in gear would defeat the purpose?

Well I have tried everything suggested so far and still the e-shaft bolt will not break. I broke a
Craftsman 1/2in wrench/19mm socket with a three foot breaker bar.
Should I heat it up cherry red first. Will this damage anything?
