Arrow Front cover issue. Just need some answers please..

Alright guys. I just happened to crack my front cover when applying the oil line and cracked it. So I decided to get it welded shut instead of taking the motor out and replacing the front cover, cause I heard it was a pain in the ***. So I wanna know how hard It is or how much of a pain it is to get it replaced. I have a 88 s4 turbo 2 jspec motor. I just got the motor rebuilt and I happened to just put 500 miles on that thing. So I really wanna get this done.
So yeah please guys help me out and teach me or tell me away how to replace this and what difficulties would I go threw. I really appreciate it.
thanks.

pick up a chilton, look at all the diagrams, pull the engine and go from there. it will have specific details about rebuilding and replacing almost any part. if you want i can send you the diagrams from mine.

lemme know.

its not that much of a hassle if you have mechanical experience with engines. i'd never rebuilt a transmission and i succeeded the worst you can do is break it a little more. then you just take it in. im almost positive any of the turboii front covers will fit. its a good learning experience if you've never done it before.

chiltons will just simply tell you how to rebuild the motor. What he is looking for are specifics such as the torrington bearings falling out of place by pulling the cover off and any other bullshit needed to avoid while replacing it...
