Friends N/A caught fire

my friend just called me to let me know his FC caught on fire...

He said he was driving and all his gauges were fine and it just started to smoke...

Popped the hood and flames were comming out. Hes not really mechanically inclined so I'm going to go check it out.

Its a shame because we were supposed to move into an apartment for school tomorrow... Now he might not be able to afford to and I'll have to find another roommate.

So, who wants to try and predict the start of the fire?

I'll update this later

Ill predict the usual, leaking pulsation dampener dripping fuel on the hot exhaust manifold.

And as an added bonus when checking the fuel pressure he pumped the clutch (I dont know why?)

And was sprayed with fluid in the eye!

Sorry to hear that, I think that is what killed my car before I bought it, found some of the wire harness burned up. There was no motor in the car so nothing to inspect. Good luck in the repair and roommate situation.

I figured it was hydrolic fluid from the clutch, caused by a burnt line maybe?
