my car went 16.8 at 85mph in stock form.. now it goes 16.4 at 86mph with the mods in my sig.. it went a 16 flat once and a couple 16.1 and 16.2 but is very consistent on that 16.4. but then again my tranny is gone too.. ask peejay about that screamin demon.. littally..

You serously need to get a 5-speed.... My escort could beat a high 17....and I can't emphasize how slow that is.....

never taken my car to the track... i am very curious as to what she would run... my mods are in the sig.. well, i can't say i've never been to the track. i have taken her to the local 1/8th mile track

I ran a 9.8 all stock... can't quite remember the trap speed, but i launched at 4000rpms and kept spinning i was so pist

faster than my s5 auto with a burnt up 2nd gear band

[edit] makes 1st gear one hella long ride to 3rd

when i took my se to the track my first run i ran a 16.3 at 85. motor had 140k on it.she pulled hard until she reached 145 then she blew.

Those of you running mid to high 14s with N/A....

HOW THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THIS??

Me:

89 GTU
S4 block/rotors - S5 everything else except lower intake manifold ( = all the power of a S5, without the 8K redline, still makes at/around 155-160 at flywheel)
Bonez Cat
2.5" Cat-Back
Magna Flow Mufflers
cold air intake
5th & 6th Ports working correctly
New clutch (its a good clutch, forgot what kind (i didnt put it on))
Apexi S-AFC II
Short throw shifter (shifts so fast the syncros cant keep up)

What should I be running on kumho street tires?

Im at sea-level, and the temps are just about to start falling... We're FINALLY heading into the low 80s (last month was 99-102, with 70-80% humidity)

Relatively new motor, 30K on it now.


Will have the car in about 2 weeks... Current owner did a 16.1 I believe... with S-AFC not tuned.


Any estimates? Say 75~ day, street tires, all mods listed above.

After the first of this year, will have RB true duals, moderately large streetported S5 block, with current S5 stuff on car now (the car is a S5, with a S4 block) and POSSIBLY a 50 shot of n20... What should I be expecting then?


Im afraid to run slicks, as I hear alot of people are losing rear ends, once they're good and sticky.

Wow my car stock ran like 15.9 .

All I had was a new clutch and a filter on the AFM . stock exhaust and everything . Plus my shifter sucks and the track isn't prepared worth crap on the night I went . I could only muster 2 flat 60's .

I ran 14.89 with filter , bumped timming , APex N1 catback and DR's . 1.5 60 ft kick y0 *** beotch
